Shrimps in Garlic Sauce

INGREDIENT: 400
grams of small, fresh and cleaned shrimps, butter, 1 cup of dry
white wine, one or two heads of finely minced garlic, salt and pepper to taste,
fresh garden herbs, lemon slices.
DIRECTION: Clean
(devein) shrimps and salt a
bit. Melt butter in
pan add the garlic first and then the shrimps, heat it up and add white
wine and simmer on low heat until the shrimps are done,
season
with some
fresh garden herbs over the shrimps, add salt and pepper to taste.
Decorate the dish with some lemon slices. Serve with
white rice or wild rice.
Recommended wine: Some nice dry Chardonnay or a Sauvignon Blanc, I
sometimes even like it with a nice Shiraz.
