RECIPE:
Pepper Steaks

SERVES: 4
INGREDIENT: 4 steaks 200gr each,
fresh black pepper, 1 shot of brandy, one cup of cream, 50 grams of
butter, salt and pepper to taste, chopped parsley.
DIRECTION:
Crush the black pepper in a mortar and push the pepper onto each side of
the steaks with a little salt, heat up the butter in a pan and
grill the
steaks until they are done to your liking, pour the cognac over the
steaks and flambé the meat shortly, then place the steaks on a preheated
plate, pour the cream into the pan and stir well mixing the cream while
it heats up with the rest of the meat fond, salt and pepper the sauce to
taste and pour it over the steaks and add the chopped parsley on top.
This dish can be served with French fries or noodles.
Optional: Add some fresh green pepper corns to the cream.
NOTES: We recommend a
Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Beaujolais or a Shiraz with this dish.
