INGREDIENT:
500 grams
of apricots (best use fresh apricots if not available the canned ones
also work) , 5 eggs,
1/2 liter cream, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 4 tablespoons sugar,
butter.
DIRECTION:
Wash the apricots de seed and cut them in half, butter out a flat Pyrex
type bake ware and arrange the apricot half's in that dish, sprinkle
each layer with a bit of sugar, mix well the eggs with the cream, the
vanilla extract and the rest of the sugar and pour it over the apricots.
Place then this dish in a
bain marie ( a bigger dish filled half up with
water) in the oven
bake for about 20 minutes at 180C. Let it cool and
serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream and
garnish
with some strawberry slices.
